How to monitor your mining rig

I'm new to mining and I'm wondering - what's the best software to remotely monitor your mining rig?

Many pools will offer an alert service that sends you an email if your rig has been inactive for x number of minutes.

Other ways:

1.  Add this to the end of your command to execute your miner (Linux only)

Code:

 2>&1 | tee logfile.txt

This will send any output (including your mining application's output) to a log file while still displaying it in your console/terminal

2.  Always keep your session open so you can see exactly what's going on

Hey,

I suggest you try BAMT, a linux distro that you can boot from USB. It's available for BTC and LTC and has built in web monitoring so that you can access the rig's stats from your PC's browser.

The thing is I am running Windows 7 on different computers with different IPs, so I would need a solution to monitor these computers and change the pool if necessary.

i'm using the Free Edition
and it's working out great!

i put the mining rig in the other room so i don't hear it

i see that VNC is something like teamviewer - that's what I'm using now. But it's annoying to connect to each computer just to change the pool. Isn't there a solution to change the pool of all mining computers with one click?
