Why should it be worth anything? If you ask me these generic domain names are not good at all. For example: hosting.com or gaming.com
Usually I never go on these sites by default, because they're often google pagerank nonsense. Also .biz extention sucks!

Sure, generic domains are sometimes parked but they're excellent for marketing due to default traffic and being very easy to remember. You're in the minority if you think they're not good, some of the top ones have sold for tens of millions of dollars. "hosting.com" actually has quite a bit of traffic, and "gaming.com" despite having no actual content has several times the amount of traffic of bitcointalk!
Not saying you're wrong, just saying most people would disagree, especially if your goal is to turn a profit.
I guess you won't find anyone who is paying more than the price you paid for the domain
There are many other domains out there which are really more interesting...

I didn't pay that much of a premium. Premium is anything over the regular $10. I didn't pay thousands, lol. I agree there's better domains out there though, definitely.
The thing is I've seen a lot of absolutely horrible, worthless domains posted on these forums and members even pitching them for sale as amazing marketing domains. I have just been SMH. Maybe I'm just in the wrong place posting for an appraisal opinion here... seems if I asked your opinion of "CryptoCurrencyWorldNewsToday.com" you'd say I hit the jackpot, lol.
