To be honest and fair, it's only worth what someone will pay for it. If you decide to sell I'd auction it instead of a flat price.

I paid a premium for it and intend to use it for a project.  However, if I were to sell it, any thoughts on value / price, potential marketability?
I think that would make sense only if you genuinely think you can get more money selling the website than making your project.

An economy based on endless growth is unsustainable.

Why should it be worth anything? If you ask me these generic domain names are not good at all. For example: hosting.com or gaming.com

Usually I never go on these sites by default, because they're often google pagerank nonsense. Also .biz extention sucks! Smiley

These are my thoughts, sorry. Tongue

I guess you won't find anyone who is paying more than the price you paid for the domain Cheesy

There are many other domains out there which are really more interesting...

Sure, generic domains are sometimes parked but they're excellent for marketing due to default traffic and being very easy to remember.  You're in the minority if you think they're not good, some of the top ones have sold for tens of millions of dollars.  "hosting.com" actually has quite a bit of traffic, and "gaming.com" despite having no actual content has several times the amount of traffic of bitcointalk!

Not saying you're wrong, just saying most people would disagree, especially if your goal is to turn a profit.

Not necessarily Wink  I didn't pay that much of a premium.  Premium is anything over the regular $10.  I didn't pay thousands, lol.  I agree there's better domains out there though, definitely.

The thing is I've seen a lot of absolutely horrible, worthless domains posted on these forums and members even pitching them for sale as amazing marketing domains.  I have just been SMH.  Maybe I'm just in the wrong place posting for an appraisal opinion here... seems if I asked your opinion of "CryptoCurrencyWorldNewsToday.com" you'd say I hit the jackpot, lol.

CryptoCurrencyWorldNewsToday.com is awesome! I'll offer you 632 BTC for it.

Personally I think .biz domains look a bit cheap.

Good for forwarding, and marketing but not the best for user.  .com are the universal and most common.  others are like alt coins.  If good like .net(world) then its useful sometimes.  but stuff like coinye and katcoin wont do much like .adf .dfs

Anyways I am willing to give some knowledge and tips for some consideration.  25% of income for me and 25% for you, 50% back to the website for future growth?  I supply and split expenses 50/50%?
