Hi there,

I just transferred some btc from my btc-e to my wallet. This is almost 20 minutes ago. And I still haven't seen the transaction in my wallet. If I open my account on btc-e. I can cleary see the transaction is send to the correct adress. I also have a confirmation of this through two factor authentication.

However if I look up the transaction on blockexplorer I see the bitcoins are received by a different address?

Maybe I'm just being paranoid but I would love to have some help in explaining this Smiley

Thanks,

*update nevermind guys I got it, probably some delay from btc-e.

I know that it's solved, but I want to put this out there for future users panicking.
Sometimes it takes a while before a transfer is complete, no matter what currency you're transferring.
Mostly this is because of validation, all transfers have to be verified so that's why it might take some time. One day it may take 3 hours, the next it might take 30 minutes.

So don't go all crazy when it doesn't come in within a few hours. Worry about it when it's still not there after 24 hours. Smiley
