I'm very new to the crypto scene. I guess it's never too late. =)
How and when did you guys get started?
I got started as bitcoin started making news, when it went over 1000.. I thought it was nuts and I myself was very skeptical. But the skepticism turned into curiosity then into an interest to bravery.
I am learning a lot but this is a whole new world. I don't like how there are like 80+ (last I read) crypto currencies out there. It should be 10 max.
Also my very early opinion is that some currencies are created as very means of pump and dump and to the 99% or so of people who aren't in the crypto scene, we'll just get bad rep plus give even more reasons for govts or so to view this whole thing only negatively. I just hope majority of us don't turn blind eye to profits only but to become well behaving members who can spread this with good intent to others. I mean who'd get started if they join and lose all their money? =)
Anyway, nice to meet you all!! Let's have a great 2014!!

Welcome to the forum!

It definitely is never too late!

You're right, there are way too many alts at the moment and new ones being created all the time - try to steer clear of them and concentrate on Bitcoin!

Yes,there are a lot of alt coins and it's not that easy to choose one. There are a lot of factors on which depend your choice but also what you look for.
