Newbie who wants to purchase from group buy... but can't?

I'm a newbie to these forums who registered so that he could get in touch with Beastlymac to place an order as part of his group buy on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=386779.0

Seems the restrictions for newbies won't let me do this though.  Am I missing something, is there anyway I can get in touch with him to place an order as a newbie?  Would appreciate any advice
