Hi!

I've got a question: if I entered a non-(128bit)-ascii type of password in earlier Electrum versions to encrypt my wallet, what would have happened? I tried 1.7.4 and it gave me an error. I know about the November commit, which fixed that, but I also stumbled upon this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=189796.0, so was there a version which behaved differently (no error shown) ? (I know there is the hard way of looking through each commit, but I would need to dig into the whole project code then, I guess...)

Cheers!
