Hello,

My name is Max Power.

I got it off a hairdryer.

I shall act as the MemoryCoin CEO.

I used to be a mechanical engineer in the nuclear power industry.

This is an experiment.

MemoryCoin allows holders of MMC to raise issues and vote on resolutions.  They are hiring a Board of Officers, to be elected by the community.  The Officers receive a portion of the network fees.  They decide how to pay those out to - to themselves or the community.

MemoryCoin is an experiment in corporate governance and alternate currencies.  The community can be inspired to turn it into whatever they would like.

I believe that the Officers should be paying these out to the community to perform services to further promote MemoryCoin.  I.e., these should be considered corporate operating budgets to hire volunteers from the community.

I am currently not the elected official CEO of MemoryCoin.  I am not receiving my entitled network fees, but I shall act as CEO of MemoryCoin.

I hope to inspire the community to volunteer nominate, elect, and support me through their efforts, services, activities, and development.  If elected, I can hire staff and payout salaries.

My first paid position will be a full-time surrogate to bring my ideas and vision for MemoryCoin to the MMC community.  (e.g., by copying / linking / etc my posts from this thread into the MemoryCoin Hiring thread above.)

As CEO, I shall only post to this newbie forum.  I will need to inspire someone from this non-MMC community of outsiders to bring my ideas to the MMC community.

I will have other replies to this thread to bump it.  Consider these blog posts / philosophical discussions on issues affecting the crypto community.  If they are to be copied / posted / duplicated elsewhere, it will need to be done by another inspired individual.

But...do you see what is possible?

If successful, a pseudonymous forum poster could not only be nominated and elected, but also function, as the CEO of a multi-million-dollar alternate currency development project...

Shall we play a game?

(Note: To receive votes, I need a custom MMC address...currently waiting for vanitygen to finish....)

Hopefully more inspiration to nominate me in the official MMC forums.

(Again, I shall only post to the newbie forum and rely on inspired individuals to carry my message to the MMC community / forum.  This is by design and intentional, but I am sure trolls will appear anyway.)

To the MemoryCoin Community:

My name is Max Power.  I got it off a hairdryer.

I shall act as the MemoryCoin CEO.

I used to be a mechanical engineer in the nuclear power industry.

My real name and identity is not important.  I will operate MemoryCoin pseudonymously and autonomously to the extent possible, by proceduralizing and delegating its governance and execution.  This is done through the governing and voting process among officers and members - i.e., the CEO oversees the voting process, amendments, changes in fee structures, etc.  I will develop guidelines for myself, officers, and the community to submit, vote, and accept/reject proposals, amendments, and regulations.  As CEO, I shall develop a voting system for the community itself to design, govern, and regulate the MoneyCoin network.

As CEO, personal identity, background verification, published financials, corporate planning and other details shall be available to the necessary degree, and likely will be necessary at some point.  But the intent is to find the appropriate balance of transparency and cost-reduction necessary at each level of the distributed economy.  As CEO, my job is more to delegate, direct, coach, support the other officers and the community to realize the full potential of themselves and of MemoryCoin.

MemoryCoin is the first proof-of-concept DAC for Invictus Innovations, and I would like this experiment to be as generalized as possible so that the lessons learned can be rapidly scaled and deployed to other applications.  We will need a lot of support, and each officer will have to act as his own CEO - delegating to and receiving support from the community.

MemoryCoin will be designed, governed, and regulated by the community through its innovative voting structure. All that it requires are officers to give the community vision, leadership, and inspiration.  We must motivate the community to see the potential in MemoryCoin, to make their own contributions, and to support ourselves in the process.

This is truly a unique time in history.

I will be very active over the next few days, but some first thoughts are given below:

CEO Responsibilities

The MemoryCoin CEO is responsible for what I like to call the Distributed Programming Interface.  In the real world, this would be company policies and procedures, how departments interact, corporate budgets, etc. For a virtual corporation, this is its governing policies, fee sharing agreements, and dispute resolution.  This is also the public face of what sort of information, details of our operations, and transparency we shall provide to other classes, departments, organizations, etc.

That is, the DPI shall consist of control programming elements - what other officers shall do, may do, or may not do within the MemoryCoin network (heavily biased towards the "may", though).  Subroutines for proposing amendments, affiliations, partnerships, etc.  Corporate governance meets object-oriented programming.

The intent is to provide each "sub-DAC" within the MemoryCoin community the highest level of autonomy, greatest amount of wealth, and lowest costs possible.

I intend to follow the principles of Distributism as supported by G.K. Chesterton, who called it "The Just Third Way."  Capital investment and means of production should be kept local to the economic decision-makers and distributed widely through the community.

You are giving myself and each of my officers control over a portion of the network fees, which will form our operating budget.  Each officer shall have discretion over these funds, and is expected to spread and distribute these to other members of the community in persuit of their goals.

Distributism is often compared to a "guild" structure.  We are skilled workers and dedicate our lives to the quality of our work, developing our own skills, and mentoring others.  The MemoryCoin community can become a training ground for the next generation of skilled workers and support a growing number of new careers, opportunities, and future leaders.

Combining that with 21st century machine-to-machine networks, the officers of a DAC offer a sort of human control and sampling element.  We are given control over the care and maintenance of the DAC network, are expected to foster its growth, and plan for its future.  We will engage the community, inspire them, and motivate them to share their own ideas, vision, resources, and energy to develop MemoryCoin and support the cryptocurrency paradigm.

Last thoughts for tonight:
________________________________

Proposal to Messrs. Larimer & Shen, CEOs of Invictus Innovations:

I have been following Invictus Innovations for the past six months, but have not made contact before now.  I highly believe in its success, and Invictus has always seemed two steps ahead of my next great idea.  If I had the means, I would be an angel investor.  But I have the ways, and I can be an angel executive (if those two words have ever been used together).

MemoryCoin development over the next year will be a project with great potential. As MemoryCoin CEO, I would also work to develop the next required element of the distributed economy.  Currently, your distributed corporation model can only produce DACs which perform services - i.e., distributed labor.  The next step is distributed capital investment in real-world technology - Distributed Automated Machine Networks.

Despite their meteoric rise, cryptocurrencies are still the most undervalued technological innovation of this century.  Current cryptocurrencies are only one-dimensional, but have enormous potential applications in combination with each other.  The real value / commodity / product produced by cryptocurrencies is their blockchain and the distributed method of ensuring its integrity.  The real innovation is not cryptocurrencies...but cryptoaccounting.

A blockchain is simply an accounting log of transactions, and balances are simply an integration.  A blockchain is a distributed data acquisition record.  In current cryptocurrencies, this data is one-dimensional from each sampling point - simply a tally of transactions.  Combining two or more systems of cryptoaccounting with human control, sampling, and regulation allows distributed and automated verification and authentication services.

The community voting and distributed governance of MemoryCoin will add a human control and sampling aspect on top of this distributed data acquisition system.  It will promote transparency and demand accountability through a self-enforcing and self-educating community.  It will train and nurture the leaders of tomorrow for what comes next.

The next dimension will be distributed autonomous machine to machine networks performing cryptoaccounting of output or other data, and interfacing with cryptocurrency networks, to provide data acquisition with crytpographic integrity and limited distribution only as far as necessary.  Control aspects can be programmed into the network / currency by design, including any required points for human observation, control, and regulation.

I will have to spend a lot of time explaining these ideas.  I will need the community to share my vision and will need their support.  In return, I will have to inspire them to realize their own visions. I believe MemoryCoin could pay large dividends into subsequent DACs and Bitshares.

For example, I believe it could be possible to have a Bitshare asset class that is backed by renewable energy generation from a specific solar or wind generating station.  Add a cryptoaccounting system (hardware and/or software) which makes "transactions" when the plant is generating.  This information is transmitted over the network only as far until it reaches a BitShare miner.  The BitShare miner "consumes" the transaction on the network.  Other baseload MemoryCoin miners are able to control, verify, and authenticate that the BitShare miner only runs when the station is generating.  The combination of this "Coin" essentially represents a "GreenShare", rather than a normal BitShare.  Markets could attach a premium price and/or merchants could accept at discount because they could "trust" that it was mined with renewable energy, as authenticated by the MemoryCoin network.

It is a wild dream, but I think all the elements are in place if we can inspire the community to support and assist us.
