Daytrade Bitcoin to USD

I know I can buy from Bitcoin from USD using Coinbase instantly but if I sell Bitcoin, the only option is to send it to the bank account. I wish I could just hold USD in Coinbase.

Anyone know of a trusted service I can buy/sell Bitcoin to USD at a moments notice and hold funds in either USD or Bitcoin?

They aren't allowed to do that.  If they held your money, they'd have to have FDIC insurance and meet all sorts of other legal requirements.  Not gonna happen.
