Hi all,
I've installed Armory client and it took a really long time (overnight) to initialize. There was an explanation (calculating hash for wallet?), but still I wonder. The default client does no such thing. Could it be that some client SW providers are exploiting their users for mining?

Regards, B.

oh your fine, all the bitcoin clients that are client based (not cloud like electrum) have to download the entire blockchain and this takes a long time because its almost 13gb https://blockchain.info/charts/blocks-size
