Hi,
I use cryptsy since a couple of days to trade altcoins. I don't understand the auto trade feature because it doesn't work like I understand.

If I set a limit of (for example) 2 Fastcoins for auto trade with option "immediate & complete sell (lowest price)" I think that if my miner withdraws 2 or more Fastcoins to my cryptsy account the amount should be sell at the next moment for the price at this moment. But cryptsy don't do this comprehensible. At the moment there are more then 2 Fastcoins into my balance but no auto trade will be initiate.

Is there somewhere a readable reference for the list of possible sale options? How does the other options working?

My goal is to sell all incoming coins immediately and completely to the current exchange rate xxx/BTC.  I do not want to speculate and wait for some better rates which then never happen.

Regards

I'm having the exact same problem here. Nothing happens, no trade. Maybe the autosell-feature is broken?

does anybody know? Or is it working for somebody? How to set it up?

there are a lot of buyers. There are many sell and buy bids and you have four options for auto sell:
 (1) Sell at top sell bid (Higher Price)
 (2) Sell at top buy bid (Lower Price)
 (3) Sell at 2nd highest sell bid (Highest Price)
 (4) Immediate & Complete Sell (Lowest Price)

i understand that (1) and (3) may never get sold and that (2) may not be sold completely, but (4) should sell immediately. But there isn't even an "open trade" for any incoming deposit. It just shows up under my balances...

I have the same experience. I just resort to manual trade.

It is working for me.  You do have to wait for confirmations, and some coins can take a while... as in an hour or two.  But sure enough, when I log in later on, there is a small amount of BTC in my account.
