I am a Windows user but recently rented a Cloud VPS to run all of my various coin software/daemons. I have built my coins such as hobonickelsd, litecoind, etc. from source, generated the server configuration file and started it, but realized I have no way to see the Sync progress as I can from the Windows GUI.

I can see the file size of the blockindex.dat and blk0001.dat growing, but is there actually any way for me to see the progress from Linux Terminal?

Code:
tail -f debug.log

That is what I use.

That doesn't really seem to give any type of percentage completed but rather just tells what block it is on. Guess I will just stick to comparing the file sizes to the ones I have on my Windows machine  Grin
