Hi all,
A novice here, but I'm excited about the possibilities that this technology has to offer.  I'm downloading a wallet using bitcoin-qt, but the block-chain is stuck at 2-3 hours.  After waiting days for it to download, this is extremely frustrating.  I've tried rebooting, but the same thing happens.  Is my block-chain corrupted?  Do I need to reinstall the entire block-chain?  Is there an easier/safer way to do this?  I'm looking to try and do this the most secure way.  Any help/input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

I believe the bitcoin-qt sync download is something like 12GB of data. You can get a faster sync with Multibit wallet for BTC, do a Google search, i've seen this problem mentioned several times and Multibit client is usually mentioned as the solution.

Good luck!

Cfx.
