Which material would you recommend for 'paper' wallets ?

Ideally, it should resist fire, last at least 100 years, not be detectable by dogs or detectors/scanners in airports etc.

Ceramic ?
Fused quartz ?
Fused silica ?

Indeed.  That would mean balancing the risks of:

- Cloud provider going belly up (bankruptcy, loss of data etc)
- Me forgetting the encryption password

With:

- Theft

Which one is more likely ? I wonder...

One could as well 'encrypt' the private key on the paper wallet with another key stored at another location, with the same risk of forgetting the password.

I use normal paper, but laminated. I storing it in more places to at least one copy survive fire.
