Multibit in Debian repo

Any chance of getting Multibit in the Debain 8 repo?

Packaging (and regression testing) for different OS is quite timeconsuming so I've tended to concentrate on :
Win -> Mac -> Linux for that reason.

(Most people are on Windows even after all these years).

Of course everything is open source so contributions are welcome!
