Can you say some more about the device and about a software development platform (SDK) that can be used?

Do you program it in C?
Does it have enough memory and CPU power to run ECDSA functions?

If that's the chip, I don't think you can use it as a bitcoin wallet.
It's not meant for this kind of applications.

It's possible though that you could load some private keys on it. Maybe even protect them with some kind of PIN.
But it won't sing you any transactions.
You'd have to extract a private key from the chip and use it with a different device, each time you want to spend some coins.
Poor security, IMHO.

Just use bitaddress.org and create an address and private key and bip38 encrypt it with something you will always remember.
Lookup the address on a block explorer... Make that the URL for when you scan the tag.,. The phone app will take you there.
Program other fields with the public address and private key as text... To store the keys..

Or you can use your NFC implant as a way to unlock GreenAddress app .. no passwords , just scan your hand...
This way you can have a HD wallet....

NTAG 216s are pretty neat and Bitcoin uses are only being discovered

rfid would not be considered an airgap which is the best option for any cold storage, an rfid in hand would seem to have the same vulnerabilities as rfid passports and rfid credit cards, . A third party could in theory access and or intercept that data with an rfid scanning device sitting close to you in a cafe or such . if you are serious about using it as cold storage for your money and not going into any other route, .I would definitely look into how they are protecting rfid passports from theft first, . unless you wear rfid blocking gloves you are giving yourself vulnerabilities as you move about and interact within the public domain.
