So after 2 months of working fine, my Avalon Mini Rig stopped working and I'm hoping that this problem will make sense to someone who can point me in the right direction to fixing my machine.

The machine quit on me late one night. What happens is the green and yellow light will be on, the fan runs slowly, wifi is working, I can connect to openwrt, but the machine stays cold and openwrt shows alive pools but nothing in the system status and no hashing.

Now the day after it stopped working it worked for about half a day and quit at night again.

Now I should mention that since the machine generates a lot of heat, I've been running it in a screened in porch area, and the the night it quit on me, it was foggy and quite moist. Since that second night I have had the machine inside and have tried to opperate it several times.

The wierd thing is, sometimes I turn it on and it stays cool, but other times it has heat up and even hashed for a few minutes before stopping. Lately it seems to heat up only about 10% of my attemps, so although it seems to be getting a little better, it's still down for the count.

If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

I got it working again. I opened it up and found some minor corrosion in a couple of places on some of the boards. I carefully cleaned them up with a wire brush, some q-tips, and some alcohol and all appears to be well. I'm hashing and happy again.

Lessoned learned, don't keep your machine outdoors where the air can be wet at times. I'll be keeping it indoors for now on.
