New to Bitcoin think i sent without fee

Hi,

Sent 0.6BTC and it was taking longer that I thought it should to appear at destination. After some googling it seems I had the fee set to 0.0000000 in options so it gets queued at low priority. I've now found out about blockchain.info and seen my transaction but its constantly stuck at 5mins and jumps around in queue position.

Is there anyway to cancel or remove the transaction? or will it cancel itself if I wait long enough?

if you post up the txid we can check the fee.
I did some 0 fee transactions accidentally a few weeks ago.. they took between 4 - 18 hours to confirm.
how longs it been so far ?

You have to wait or it will look like a double spend. Once nodes completely forget it, you can send again.
