Mining Rig Help

Hello fellow miners,

I'm strongly thinking about investing in mining, for the fun and the profits. My questions are the following:

• Can I use Antminers and Block Erupters on the same USB hub? Is it wise to do that?

• How can I overclock the Antminers? Can I overclock them to 2 GH/s instead of 2.2 GH/s?

• Is it safe to overclock the Antminers while using a fan?

• Can a USB 3.0 hub connect to a Rasberry Pi? Some people say no, although I have seen it done before in a video.

I would suggest going bigger. I went from 16 USB 333 to one Blade 10 GH to 200 GH/s for around $2500 its getting expensive. If i was you I wound mine Peercoin and just trade it.

Yea that was the plan, to mine Altcoins and trade them for Bitcoins. I've heard of Multipool anyone had any luck with that? So I should get my rig bigger? I don't have a ton of capital though.

I understand the only thing that sucks about altcoins is the ones that good are all script based. You could do peercoins. That's what I plan to mine with my 10.7 GH\s blade.

Nothing is wrong with being scrypt-based. I was just telling him that if he wanted to get ASIC then he was limited to SHA-256 and the only coins that make sense is Bitcoins and Peercoin. You can't mine Litecoins with the USB block erupters.
