I recently buyed a
scrypt-rig consisting (among other parts) in 5x R9 280x, a motherboard (Gigabyte G8 sniper a88x), an 860W platinum PSU and a 1050 good (87%) PSU. I have 4 powered risers and a power-splitter 2psu--->motherboard.
I was just wondering how to connect the pieces... i decided to connect 1 card to the MOB, 3 gpu + MOB to the 860W platinum PSU, and 1 gpu and MOB to the 1050WPSU. Am I right?
Is in this way supported the blackout option from the bios (i.e. will the PSUs reboot togheter)?
