Hey All- Just trying to figure this stuff out and am trying to wrap my head around some things. For instance, take Ripple donations. There are some kind individuals willing to get newbies started by donating to their wallets. All you need to do is post your wallet address in the thread. As someone new, used to bank accounts and such, posting a wallet address for free stuff feels so wrong, as in un-secure. But it seems like an accepted way to do business and one of the easier ways to get started. I'm sure it's simple but can someone explain how it is secure to put your wallet address out there in public?

In Bitcoin and other Alt coin you can generate different address for different purposes so that people will not link you to that address which protect your privacy.
