...but I have the private key ONLY. No public key, no public & private QR codes, etc..

what are the step-by-step instructions on how to go about using my private key only to transfer funds to a newly created wallet?

what are the step-by-step instructions on how to go about using my private key only to transfer funds to a newly created wallet?

1. Create a wallet on blockchain.info.
2. Go to "Import/Export", and enter the private key in "Import Private Key" field.
3. Send your bitcoin to your newly created wallet.

You could use other wallet clients as well, but I think it would be easiest to use blockchain.info.

You are welcome. It is better to not lose your paper wallet though. Grin

First rule is to have private keys, since you have them, it's not a problem at all. Everyone should have their private keys stored on safe place.

Sounds like you have written down your private key on another paper.
If that is the case, please double and triple check you have every letters (case-sensitive) and numbers correct.
Also, it is better to make a few copies with your paper wallet and store them in safe places, to avoid losing your paper wallet.
