I'm a new member to this forum!  Hello All!

I've been mining for about three weeks now with an ATI R9 290 Linux system and also with my everyday desktop (GTX 560 Ti).

At first, I made some money selling Dogecoins on eBay, but they told me to stop selling virtual items.   Tongue

So now I'm mining alt-coins at various pools and that seems to be going well.

I do have one question...is it worth running a CPU miner (for Quarkcoins, let's say) at the same I'm running a GPU miner?   Huh

Thanks and happy mining!

It depends, weigh up the costs for electricity for using the CPU to mine. If this is less than you will generate go for it, if it is more don't. Personally I wouldn't mine with a CPU as the rewards are very negligible.
