I have been scrolling and searching the forum for quite sometime, but I did not find such sort of list that included the names of all the alt-coins and ICOs that were claimed to be fake by the masses and was updated frequently. There existed some posts from about an year ago or so in which people shared their experience and claims for an Altcoin or ICO to be fake but there was no such list format, also they were not kept up to date.

2017 was the year of ICOs, no doubt in that, yet it was an year of scams as well. I have observed people losing faith over this great technology just because of their bad experiences with fake altcoins , ICOs or exchanges.
Reason: There was no such list that highlighted clearly that investing in that particular Altcoin is not recommended.

Creating such a list would allow the people stepping into the world of virtual currencies to be safe, earn profit and replenish people's credence in the virtual currencies.

I would require the help of bitcointalk community to keep sharing their experiences and thoughts regarding altcoins, ICOs and Exchanges that they think are fake and should not be spent on, so that I can keep updating this list frequently.
Together we can prevent losses of a huge number of individuals Smiley, unknowingly throwing their money in the black-hole because of lack of knowledge regarding the point of investment.

Work together to collect a list of altcoin scam, ICO and exchanges, I think that's a very interesting idea, everyone in each of these forums can express their opinions and experiences about altcoin, ICO and exchange that do fraud and harming many others, help each other prevent fraud.

I really like this kind of question, hopefully there were list of scams inside the forum in order that all of us will aware, but scam accusations can only be notice when the problem arise, or when a certain person disappeared when they already done of what they want to get. So I'm hoping that there are some people can give the exact importations about groups of scammers.

I am now in contact with such people now who can analyze and give a heads up about all such traps and I will be very soon initializing this list  Smiley Everyone is welcomed to share their experience in order to help others.

What kind of ico are you listing the one who has ongoing ICO or the one that already finish and has raised enough funds. If you plan to add the ICO that already finish you should add to the list Envion and cartaxi.

Its a good idea, if only a good list of such can b created, it will help avoid lots of time wasted on these scam campaigns, it might however be a little tricky since its almost impossible to tell a project that will be a scam at its early stages

the need to create a list of reliable and publicly publicized ICOs so that they do not get caught up in ICO's fraud, hopefully the expert section on ICO helps provide reliable ICO recommendations
