Hi Folks,

As I am new to the board I can't post this in the correct thread but hopefully someone will pick it up and post it there if they feel it is a good idea.

Has anyone dropped an email/tweet to Max Keiser or Stacy Herbert about the unfolding drama with Coinye? They seem like one of the most likely outlets that would carry this story?

I am happy to drop them a line but I wanted to check with the new Devs to make sure I am not stepping on any toes...

Hi,

I'm considered newbie too, but mining BTC since 2012, just reading was enough for me, until now.

It seems that we (COYE community) have all the media buzz that we can hope for, but if you have some channels to anyone who could be considered influential, use them. Nobody will be mad on you for it, maybe some coinye haters..Smiley

Whats important, is giving actual and correct informations to them, maybe the best way is to contact some of dev/mod team at irc.freenode.org/#coinyecoin who can give an interview, and set it up with influencer of your choice. As we did via IRC with reporter from NY daily news and others past few days.

More coverage, higher demand and correct information spread.

I think that coinye is going to have a tough time really taking off and hitting the exchanges. Kanyes legal team is just waiting on an exchange to facilitate its use, and they are going to launch legal nukes at them. I dont think that this coin has a future.

Is it a coincidence that eBay is now launching virtual currency after the success of coinye http://mashable.com/2014/01/17/ebay-virtual-currency-uk/?utm_cid=mash-com-fb-main-link

Coinye coin is the next most popular coin(if not more popular) after Bitcoin.

It is the most traded coin on ebay and now ebay as officially stated that they will open a virtual currency trading section on ebay. This is just one week after the launch of Coinye and after thousands of Coinye trading.

The number 1 crypto-currency on eBay is Coinye.

It is not yet listed on most exchanges but sells 10 times more than every other.

My personal opinion is that Coinye is the next big thing.

Yes that is correct, havent been into Crypto that long a time, but what happened to Coinye has made it the naughty child of crypto. So to speak the little black sheep.

And anyone can badmouth the coin as much as they want and tell people it's dead, but I think we have a lot of folks out there keeping an eye out, ready to jump in when this coin gets listed or the case by GayFish gets thrown out.

To be honnest, he can sue the developer of the coin, but he can't stop the coin, Its in the hands of the community now. And the community wont let it die.

The media this coin is getting is priceless, the new devs should just release a statement, making it clear that the original dev jumped ship and has nothing to do with this coin, same as GayFish.

I'd be willing to bet you're wrong on that. Even if this coin and it's devs weren’t sued, it still wouldn’t've lasted long as these coins never do. They enjoy a brief flurry of activity riding on the back of some media attention, then die out. You pump 'em and dump 'em then move on to the next coin.

If Ebay resolves the issues with Paypal, then surely EBay could be a exchange in its own right? and as williecity mentioned I have noticed alot of Coinye being traded. Good news for alt coins I think.

They still wont be allowed to list Coinye due to legal threats from Kanye.

And there's a good chance they'll get removed citing brand infringement or some other bullshit.

Might be that you're right, but I'm willing to take the chance and say that the minute it hits an exchange of some sort, the possibility is that there will be a demand for it, might be short lived, but it will be there. Everyone always want a piece of the bad boy, and even if it devaluate rapidly after that, it would be a shame to see it die, reason being, it will seem like The GayFish not to be named has won against a crypto and that might just give people ideas.

Again just my opinion.

Can someone please tell me where I can download Coinye?

Anyone, who can help?

Also, what is this all about?

There's a lot of weird terminology, this thread is a good guide.
If you think you deserve to be whitelisted, write up a post then PM me with the link.  Messages without links (or a good reason) will be ignored.
If you're looking for free bitcoin giveaways, check out the games and rounds subforum. WARNING: It does contain gambling as well.

Download the Coinye wallet? Check the alt coin section, but I think Coinye is dead anyway, or they've at least changed the name of it.
