Hi guys;
If there is anyone who has a bigger rig that needed 2+ Power supply boxes connected - please, if you have a moment - send some help this way.
So, I got this situation; 2x GPU - 1x power supply.
What I wanna do: 4x GPU - 2x power supply.
So I did read up a bit, and I found this
https://coincable.com/product/dual-psu-power-supply-24-pin-adapter-cable/Basically, from what I understand - this is THE cable that serializes the ATX power supplys and makes sure that both get up when computer starts, right?
Question is:
Is this alone good enough for the system, or is something missing? I was told that there is a possibility for this set up to go bad, for some reasons. Such as burning out components due to electricity voltage fluctuation. I know shit about electricity and electronics, pretty much, so I need help.
As I saw here people with up to 200 GPU's working, I'm sure that someone here knows exactly how this goes.
If you can explain, or point me to valid article/content on the web for this, I'd be very grateful.
