This is happening yes. Banks are making policies and modifying their systems to accommodate bitcoin and other crypto. But this is quite slow process, needs much acceleration.
It does, but don't feel surprised if great advancements in this aspect are happening right now with the current prices! It's cheap again, a great entry point and what institutional investors were waiting for!
Well, why am I not surprised? They are banks and they obviously would not want to be left behind, but in the same vein, a lot of that will have to do with the government regulations and policies anyway since they will always have to abide by it, but I believe in the long run, they will definitely just have to find a way to want to stay existent and tapping from the space. Basically, banks are there to make profit, so in a way, they sure will want to try every means not to ever be halted from making the money in the long run.
