Hi

Any opinion on this as a method to secure paper wallet?

I have an old WinXP laptop not used for much

Format drive
Re-install WinXP
Run Updates & MSSE
Open www.offlineaddress.com
Remove laptop from internet
Create paper wallets
Print them to XPS Document
Save XPSs to 3 x Newly formatted and Encrypted USB sticks using 20 random password using KeePass
Re-Format laptop again and re-install OS before connecting laptop back to internet
Give 2 USB keys to trusted family/friends , keeping one yourself - in case of my untimely death/incapacitation
Store passwords for USB sticks in KeePass , multiple locations
Give family /friend the password to the other family/friend USB key

or maybe LiveUSB  but the general idea of the "XPS to multiple encrypted USB with criss cross password"  bit is what I am considering to ensure if I get hit by a bus , they are not lost

Of course , the two could collude but not much you can do if your family want to turn you over.

Thinking about it , maybe give the passwords of both remote keys to third person

Cheers

Noob
