I purchased one of these about a month ago and never got it close the hash rate being reported @
https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison . There, with the same model #, shows a hash rate of 752 kh/s. The absolute
best I've been able to get from mine is 582 kh/s, though not stable. I thought maybe I had a bad card, and either way,
decided to add 3 more to the mix. Currently, they are all averaging around 535 kh/s. Not sure where I've went wrong here.
I've tried a lot of tweaking, changing nearly every variable. Below is the cgminer command line:

C:\cg\cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool1.us.multipool.us:7777 -u username -p password --thread-concurrency 22400 -g
1 -I 13 -w 256 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 30-75 --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 85 --temp-target 72 --gpu-powertune 20 --expiry 1
--scan-time 1 --queue 0 --no-submit-stale

with the vapor-x you'll only hit 730+ with the old 039/040 bios, 041 will not go above 735 ;P

Signatures are so 2014.

using these settings with a Gigabyte 280x R9 I get about the same as the guy posted. Is this correct?

-I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192

I am getting 725 Kh/s with MSI 280X Gaming

hi,

i have that card and can't reach the hash rates from the hw comparison chart either. i'm maxing it out @ 710 though i'm not done with it yet..

try these:

-I 13 --gpu-fan 60 -w 256 -g 2 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 11200 --gpu-engine 1030 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune -20

it seems that model is quite stuborn on the gpu-engine parameter. the sweet spot seems to be between 1020 and 1030. also i have to keep the fan running @ about 3000 constantly, seems to me that at 76° some sort of hardware safeguard locks in..

also try and lower your screen resolution and DON'T TOUCH THE RIG! EVER! most of the time i have an explorer running and that's it. no chrome, nothing else.. and maybe try some different pools.
