Paid gig - Do you know SEO? Then please read this

Hi and thanks for reading, I am an old, old school electronics guy and have never owned a website before ( took me 4 days to figure out how to work drupal ). My son tells me that i need to do SEO a little bit, and i have no idea where to start. I'm not looking for a lot, just a little basic stuff. My website will probably only be up for about a year so i dont need a ton of traffic or a "the works" package.

Please dont message me telling me all the great things you can do for me for thousands of dollars, or trying to give me a lesson in search engines, i promise i will delete your message in under 10 seconds of opening it. I am looking for some very basic stuff, pretty much just enough to say that we did a little SEO.

Please just send me a message telling me what you think would fit the bill, and your going rate. I will be using escrow so if you think i am just some old coot that you can rip off real quick, just move on to the next guy.
