Hello BitcoinTalk,
(I'm
sure this is the wrong place to post this, but I'm new, so I can't post anywhere else yet!)
I have a desktop computer that was bought about 2 years ago that has an ATI Radeon HD 5400 Series GPU in it. I know that it's not optimal hardware for mining, but it still should work with cgminer
in theory.
Anyway, when using cgminer from the command line, the program will start up and look like it's about to mine, but it says "Error -55: Enqueueing kernel onto command queue. (clEnqueueNDRangeKernel)" followed by "GPU 0 failure, disabling!"
Using GUIMiner-scrypt, a Windows error message simply pops up that says cgminer.exe has crashed.
I'm relatively new to mining and it'd be nice to be able to use this desktop's GPU to mine instead of the one in my laptop, even if it's only a marginal improvement.
Thanks in advance for any help! (and thanks in advance if this thread gets moved to a better place!
