Just curious how many people have Bitcoin as part of their investment strategy every month

Those who hold and those who are without property have ever formed distinct interests in society

I have a fixed amount that I want to invest each month and wait for a good opportunity to buy. If there is none until the end of the month, I just buy at the current price.

I have started in December, do these two months count as "every"? Cheesy. Anyway I transfer fiat to an exchange and add it to the pool governed by my experimental trade bot.

Mining isn't free....Huh?

I actually have one machine mining GPU coins. I dabbled in ASIC mining, but after doing the math, I sold my miners and put the money in coin.

My biggest problems with mining are: 1. ASIC miners depreciate in value too quickly when increasing difficulty is factored in. 2. GPU takes up too much space, use too much electricity, and create too much heat, and for the best GPU are overpriced. 3. CPU mining requires too many PCs.

So what is your simple, cost-effective mining strategy that beats just buying coins with your extra cash?

I did contemplated at one time in creating a special BTC savings account where i'd put $50/paycheck into a savings account and buy BTC with it.  Unfortunately will all of the xmas bills coming, I might not start that until Feb/March.  Definitely something I want to do!
