How about I make SpamB.cash for yous. That way you can come one click spam the bcash with tx's of 1sat. I'll have a nice graphical interface where you can actualy see your tiny tiny transaction broadcast then get confirmed in realtime. Can make like a "10,000x button" where you can instantly make 10k transactions to broadcast i don't know...

That is a lot more fun, would make a much more solid point and we can finally settle once and for all which is the real Bitcoin..

By the Cores definittion, yous should rename as Bgold and we will gladly go under Bcash

To be honest I really like that. I have nothing against Bgold.. Bgold is a BRILLIANT store of value.. It's just a bitch to use like real money.. just like real gold...

I means seriously can't we stop the infighting. How about we say Bgold is just as much bitcoin as Bcash is?

OR.. I'll just relaunch BTC from square one BEFORE core rolled back OPcodes and just use the diffusion of innovations as the coins release schedule and there ya go. Watch your store of value die in heartbeat....

I'm more than happy to help kill off satoshi..

Were do I start.

1.feel free to make any coin you like. He'll why don't you call it Bitcoin? Roger does.
2.spamming the mempool with low transaction fees....a trick your god Roger used on Bitcoin at Christmas to send fees through the roof, strange that your mentioning such tactics AND a bcash supporter.
3.Bitcoingold is fine by us. It's Bitcoin GOLD...not Bitcoin..and doesn't pretend to be Bitcoin...or operate from a domain called " Bitcoin.com"
4. Saying Bitcoin GOLD is just as much Bitcoin as bcash is is quiet accurate. Mainly because neither are Bitcoin.. both are altcoins. The only difference is one pretends it's the original Bitcoin the other knows it's an altcoin.
5. No infighting here. We are simply forking a coin...just like bcash
6.if you want to/think you can relaunch Bitcoin and that it will be so good we will all immediately uptake it as the one true store of value your mistaken, because we all know that only Bitcoincashcash is the true Bitcoincash.
7. If you think you could kill off Bitcoin then please demonstrate your god like powers over decentralised networks??show us what you can do?? I'll wait.

So will it be a bitcoin cash fork? Now the doubt has rolled, mainly because of the name. The objective and starting from that fork of day 4, to launch the bitcoincashcash more of which fork? BTC or BCH?
Well it was going to be of bcash, however that would give some sort of credit to bcash, so this is a fork of the Bitcoin blockchain, people who support and own Bitcoin at the time of the fork will receive bitcoincashcash...people who hold bitcoincash will not.
Because as we all know " Bitcoincashcash is the true bitcoincash" so therefore we can't fork from it.
This will be a Bitcoin fork 100 percent. It will be held on July 4th because that is the American day of independence, and as such seems a fitting day to fork a coin aimed at Decentralising a centralised (and very misleading) entity.

The way I see it, Bitcoin is a technology.

https://bitcoincore.org/ and #bitcoincash are just the 2 closest implementations. Difference is, the method been sought using the #LightningNetwork couldn't be any further from the spirit and intention of the white paper.

I have a few more cut an pastes to drop in but when I'm done for the day I'll come back and gladly debate anyone as I've just become aware of this who uproar a few months ago.

Short and tall, bitcoin.com has everything in place for the n00b to see there is BTC and BCH. They can see clearly that 2 are labeled and anyone can label bitcoin however they want. It's not an owned or trademarked name.

To be honest. BTC is been pretty misleading because it's technically not even that now.

When Steam and Microsoft dropped BTC, it became loud and clear that Core and it's supporters had succeeded in making bitcoin just like real gold. Cumbersome and no longer viable as cash.

When we say Bitcoin Cash is bitcoin. Were not been literal. You guys do realise that? The problem with btc.com is that you are assuming newcomers are not smart enough to read and tell the difference.

Bitcoin is a technology. Core = Long term stable store of value. I hold amounts for this very reason. Cash = Just that. I use my bitcoin cash for that.

Core = HODL / HOARD
Cash = Use / Spend

The attitude difference is major as well. Outside of the flame wars, you will find we are more than happy to debate. But even you're own are noticing that this viscous tactic of attacking others who associate with rog is kinda brutal. Like what yous did to that poor reporter the other day..

TL:DR?

Your gripe is with Bitcoin.com and Roger Ver.
Stop acting like children and keep the technology out of this.
We are not responsible for his actions.
Unlike Bitcoin, we don't have a leader or central group who are responsible for the entire future of an open source piece of software.

Go check your /roots... This isn't what we started btc for...

Is bitcoin cash still suitable to be the bitcoin cash?Is it not bitcoin?

Unfortunately if I want to spend my bch OR btc i need to turn it into ltc (cheaper fees, sometimes the amount i need to spend is the same as the fee it's self. $2 to... god it was horrible at the start of the year...)

I have a coinjar Swipe card so paying bpay bills and buying food is enough. If coin jar accepted BCH then it would be perfect. Pay my rent, dump it all in BCH and live off my swipe account. Instead, I keep my funds in the coinomi app and have to pay shapeshift an arm and a leg to turn it into something coinjar accepts.

Why Bitcoin Cash matters

Derek Magill - March 13, 2018

Mike Hearn:

Quote
Why has Bitcoin failed?
It has failed because the community has failed. What was meant to be a new, decentralised form of money that lacked “systemically important institutions” and “too big to fail” has become something even worse: a system completely controlled by just a handful of people. Worse still, the network is on the brink of technical collapse. The mechanisms that should have prevented this outcome have broken down, and as a result there’s no longer much reason to think Bitcoin can actually be better than the existing financial system.

Bitcoin Core did not fail for any necessary technical reasons whatsoever. As Hearn wrote, it “failed because the community has failed.” Anybody who tells you otherwise is misinformed or lying. For a large part of Bitcoin’s history, it was understood that Bitcoin could scale on-chain to the entire world. The 1mb block size was supposed to be a temporary measure that was lifted long ago, but through a combination of censorship, subversion, slander, theft, and propaganda, the 1mb limit was never lifted and opposition was silenced. As Mike Hearn said, Bitcoin became “a system completely controlled by just a handful of people.” These people have forced an artificial block size limit on Bitcoin Core that prevents it from scaling and which in 2017 led to the creation of Bitcoin Cash.

Bitcoin Cash then is not trying to answer the question of whether Bitcoin can scale on-chain or not. We know it can, as did Satoshi and everyone else who worked on the project in the early days. This is where people who push other coins against Bitcoin Cash miss the mark in particular. The block size debate is a function of a larger problem.

It is likewise incorrect and trivial to think that the entire Bitcoin Cash question is built upon the size of the blocks. Bitcoin Cash matters because it is attempting to answer if a blockchain project can survive being co-opted from within or not. Can a project be protected by a Remnant [3] of good actors against bad ones who have gained control? That is the real unanswered question and I think it is the most important question in cryptocurrency today. No other coin has the chance to do that and we should not allow it to be forgotten in block size discussions.

So if you find yourself wondering why Bitcoin Cash matters in a world of alt coins, this is one big reason. The fact is that if Bitcoin Cash fails it does not bode well for the rest of the cryptocurrency industry. It would mean that any project that gains enough traction is open to being taken over through the same means that Bitcoin was taken over before: censorship, lies, propaganda, theft, slander, and masses of unprincipled useful idiots.

_____________________________

Now in no way does this try debate the whole Roger Ver / Bitcoin.com thing. His opinions and actions do not represent the technology itself.

I hope people can try accept and respect BCH the same way they do for almost every other crypto out there.
