Bitcoinica is a trading platform with options.  Looks like it just launched several days ago.  I didn't see a thread about it, so I started one.

Is anyone using it?  How well is it working?

my opinion - you got to be really crazy or low-volume to use margins to play BTC market. it's volatile enough, margins trading is for low-volatility markets.

But then again if you have the capital to mess with the market at the same time this could get interesting

I am using it but only with 10 USD to start.
Blew through 5 bucks testing things.. and then made a profitable trade using 5 dollars to make
30 cents.

Do I trust it enough to stick 500 dollars in it yet? No.

i like it very much and i do compare prices to mtgox.
i wouldnt throw much money at it now - but i am sure they will grow.

I deposited 2 BTC on it, and now I am toying with them...

Lost a bit of money already, and wasted some money trying options, but I think I am getting the hang of it.

Considering it is my first time doing non-limit trading, I am good (also my first time doing limit trading was on mtgox about 5 months ago).

But no, I will not throw all my BTC in there yet.
