Loki Mining

Lately i have started mining Loki. It a POS/POW coin that will start master nodes down the line with stalking options as well. The most interesting point is that the master nodes will get more and more accessible to people unlike DASH where you need to spend a ton of money to set up a master node. The mining has been going smoothly with regular payments. The only issue I have is the hash rate keeps fluctuating way too much. One second its 100h/s and the next its 1000h/s and then again it goes to 350h/s. is this common?
