The philosophy is that Value is created by group consensus. If there are enough people who agree to a certain value of something, then it will have that value. It is all reliant upon group consensus. Most coins are taken to market simply for the developers to make more money. They use wash trading, manipulation, and fake user accounts for twitter, telegram, and posts on places like bitcointalk. Markets are built on speculation. There is no need for a coin to have a made up use case. As long it can be sent and received it has a use case. I believe that if a coin is spread well to many people before it hits an exchange, that it will have a much better chance of holding value.
