Antminer S1 factory Reset

Is it possible to factory reset the antminer? I didnt change the ip, but somehow cannot connect to the web GUI...

There's a little push button on the control module that will reset it back to factory.

I got my machine hooked to my computer then uses its wifi for internet.

I am still not mining.

I can ping the machine from my computer and my machine to openwrt.org

I saved everything.

If you want to use Wifi then set WAN and WWAN to DHCP, power off, wait 10 or so seconds, power on, and use an IP Scanner tool to find the IP) if you cannot locate it.

The trick is to make sure that there are no static entries on the WAN interface and the power cycle otherwise you will just end up hanging at the black LuCi screen on WiFi

You have a setting wrong or your router does not provide DNS entries as part of its DHCP. It is normally the first rather than the latter. The quickest way to do this is to see if this is the problem is to go to the Network -> Interfaces -> WWAN -> General Setup and confirm that the Protocl is set to DHCP, then on the  Network -> Interfaces -> WWAN -> Advanced Setup uncheck the Use DNS servers advertised by peer checkbox, the Use custom DNS servers box appears, enter 8.8.8.8 in the Use custom DNS servers box, then Save & Apply. You may need to power cycle again but you can test first from the Network -> Diagnostics ping page.

If that doesn't work then dump out the contents of your /etc/config/network file in a PM to me and I will have a look.

Nothing wrong with your miner or I think your setup now, you are just too far away from your wireless router to use an Ant without an antenna, you need to get a 5dbi sma antenna, that should give you a better connection.

I had the same issue trying to connect S1 using WIFI, Im a Electronic and Systems Enginner, so i figure out that the plug of the wifi connector of the S1 is missing the little part inside, and the antena has the same connector, so i was trying to connect female connector -to- female connector.

Thats why i was getting no Network.

Try to put a very small wire about (.5Centimeters) in the little hole of the wifi plug, and then try to put the anntena small hole inside that wire.

Let me know if that did the trick.

OK, after trying to many changes i did it, first set your WIFI network running, then disable LAN, and then disable WAN, after that the WIFI network will star running.

OK after a day of testing configurations, I delete the WAN device in the adminpage, this give me the chance, to use just the WWAN (WIFI), and the miner is running fine, i will keep you posted.

The problem is the route table of the network devices, the WAN was trying to connect to internet, when the real connectio was the wifi, if you log via ssh, and do the route command $route, you will figure out this problem.
