If only the wider world were aware of Kialara, this collection would be swept up in a flash.  The beauty, the craftsmanship, and the very difficult (nigh impossible) to counterfeit nature of these art pieces make them so desirable.  Best wishes.  I'd estimate the value to be right around $20k with the moon set and ruby lab included.

Collection purpose yes but these work as good cold storage as well. the bars (Except signature series) have privkey inside and public key can be shown from above. one can fund them but to get to the privkey, the bar will need to be destroyed. So it's hardcore cold hardware wallet for HODLing

I've had a few of these.  These are the gold standard.  Feels substantial in your hand and intricate detail.  Can never have enough of these.  Buy the full set already!

They look nice, but it would be silly to actually fund them. I would hope people wouldn’t trust keys that they did not generate these days!

Good point, but the big names (Casascius) are so trusted that their market value far exceeds their face value. what would happen if even one got compromised - near worthless.

The gentleman at Kialara, seems to be a standup person with all the charity work he does.  But..funding a 1btc one would make me lose some sleep.

agreed! funding them will mean destroying them to take out funds for starters. So i would never fund them. I do have couple originals funded but that's it

Max is a trustworthy person, there's no trust issue on my hand about funding any of the pieces. Be it 2 btc Moon Suite or 1 btc gold/silver. But i would rather not fund something that i cannot redeem without breaking it. I can Never bring myself to break one
