There is an inherent issue regarding cryptocurrencies today and the socio-economic barriers that bar many people around the world from being able to benefit from the many features of blockchain technology. Bitcoin and other altcoins are already expensive and many of their coins are held by a select group of people who were able to get in early. The crypto-industry is not representative of the diversity of the world and people of different ethnic backgrounds, women, and those in different socio-economic classes have little say in the industry. People Token aims to solve this issue by enabling these groups to have access to a secure, anonymous, and quick block chain network.

This technology is faster, more secure, more reliable, and newer than the SHA-256 and Scrypt algo coins currently released. The coin can't be mined, so people who can afford many power mining rigs aren't at an advantage. This allows more people to access it with the added benefits of being a newer coin technology.
