The heart of DACC is a focus on identity and access management (IAM). The DACC public blockchain features IAM built into its foundation – allowing protection for content distributed and held on the chain, as well as the ability for developers to create dApps with integrated IAM features.

There are three key problems DACC wishes to solve: personal data theft, IP piracy and monopolization of monetization, all relating to the way centralized corporations (Facebook, for example) manage digital content. By building IAM protocols into an immutable blockchain ledger, the team hopes to provide solutions to these problems that were previously unavailable.

The benefit of DACC’s chain is that users can upload data without the risk of it falling under someone else’s control. All content will have time-stamped copyright information contained on the blockchain, and the platform plans to institute algorithms to constantly search for theft or misuse of copyrighted content.
