but ico there must be a regulation in it. for the prevention of potentially ico on a scam. This is for investors' security. and I agree if there is a law under all ico.

I'm against those kind of regulations. Regulations mean KYC, collecting more and more personal info, restrictions, etc. This is not crypto.

I like the idea of Wild West + using your common sense to catch scams.

ICO must be regulated for sure. I can't see any reason why it should not be regulated. This is very serious things, billions of dollars have been raised.

I do not even expect the government to keep quiet in an environment where a lot of money is being raised globally and by lot, a whole lot of it and the fact that regulating it will benefit the governments. Additionally, considering the fact that scam has been a norm of the day for ICOs, it is high time they started packing their loads and counting their days.

I believe with these developments, things should turn out fine for the ICO space in the long run, which places more advantage to it than disadvantages.

Firstly, we cannot even escape regulation anyway, and I always feel that regulation will actually usher in more big investors and at the end we may start seeing ICO not playing out for the smaller investors in the long run. It has gotten to the point where ICOs need to be regulated but at the same time and expecting government to be liberal about an unregulated environment with scammers spoiling the whole show, we would be asking for too much.

That is the main intention anyway asides from the fact that the government is going to be benefiting a lot from it as well, but it is high time we got to know where we are headed and regulation will definitely help with that. At least one thing with regulation is that it is going to reduce all these FUDs, people will start getting to invest in what they really believe will fly in the long run and not get scared of a project turning into scam and that is a good way to start.

Based on my experience ico should be regulated. I found lots of scam project or lots of greedy people coming up with raising funds with unrealistic concept without any concern on proble m solving for the issue. Ico are becoming greedy tool . I think regulating ico will attract more investors confidence.

Yeah if they really want to make legal business they must be registered but since this is a decentralized market most of the ICO's are not doing it and some of those are just scams. Regulation on this can have an advantage because many investors will come confidently and invest their money on a project they trust for.

Regulation of ICO will make scam not so easy as it is now and I think that the quality of ICO projects will improve. Perhaps now it will be more difficult to invest anonymously, but regulation will make market more transparent.
