We released the source code and binaries. People had time to compile the source and run the client on their machines against the Quantumcoin CQC testnet. So people were able to make sure everything was working well. this time mining hardware is very costly for mining and output is very small thaty why CQC is based on Pos Mining for all users and first time of crypto world we start direct support for CQC holders.

This is based on the latest Bitcoin code. You can either build the daemon version (quantumcoind) or you can build the gui version (Quantumcoin QT). See the build docs.

Similar to Bitcoin and litecoin, you may want to create a quantumcoin.conf file here:
   Windows: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\quantumcoin
   Win7: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\quantumcoin
   Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/quantumcoin
   Unix: ~/.quantumcoin

Port is 32614. Open if on your router if you know how. This will allow you to have more than 8 connections.
And default RPC port is 32614. This is the port miners will use to communicate with your client/daemon.
