As the title says; I am selling my steam account. Due to real life stuff taking over, my schedule limiting my time to play games to almost never, and now with the summer being here with the good weather - i just don't see myself ever have the time to play games anymore so I'm getting rid of my accounts such as my Guild Wars 2 account, World of Warcraft account, The Secret World account, Star Wars The Old Republic account, and so on. Starting with my steam account, see how it goes.

Some info about it;

- Account has 112 games - including CSGO, H1Z1, Arma 3, Payday 2 etc etc
- ON CSGO I HAVE 1,024 HOURS, PRIME STATUS, ALL ACHIEVEMENTS UNLOCKED (167/167), RANK SILVER 4
- Steam account Level 11
- 6 year old account
- Never banned, no vac, no trade bans, no community bans
- Account in good standing
- Steam Balance of £0.95

It's essentially a glorified CSGO account. Most of the 111 other games just boost the value of the account to £1,000+, such as Max Payne 3, LA Noire, Arma 3, H1Z1, Payday 2, a bunch of CoD games, etc - filler in my opinion. So for that reason I'm going to keep the pricing of this account realistic and simple - similar to that of a typical CSGO account since i believe CSGO is the only real value to this account since it's PRIME status, all achievements unlocked, rare badges from early-2011/2012, over 1k hours, and very low ranked for smurfing.

Price = £25/$25/25€

Price is NEGOTIABLE

I don't care about exchange rates, it'll more or less be the same price - it's not like saving 2$ by paying me in $ instead of £ is going to be the greatest discount you've ever come across. Payment methods I'm not too fussed, though just to let you know my account comments section on my steam profile is riddled with "+rep" comments as I have performed countless trades dating back to 2012 for games, csgo keys/skins (which i have now sold), selling games for cash, etc etc. I am a trade veteran from steamtrades.com, so trust me, don't waste your time trying to scam, i can assure you it won't work.

I have a preference for paysafecards as they work similarly to gift cards, except you put balance into the card, like charging up your phone balance for example, and then you give me the pin to that card like a steam gift card essentially - except these cards can be used in many places other than X website, like Amazon gift cards or Steam gift cards. So unless you're a trusted member - i'm not risking chargeback payment methods like Paypal. But paysafecards shouldn't be a problem for you since all you'd have to do is buy a paysafecard online (just as you would any type of gift card) and pay with whatever your preferably payment method is (bank, paypal, etc), send me the PIN for the receipt of that card, and voila. The £25/$25/25€ is mine in form of a giftcard which is redeemable in many places online. Very simple.

If you want to see the account, just request it and I can link it to you. I can also prove the account is mine by logging into it, adding you as a friend, we can even play a round of csgo so you can check out the profile, verify that it's prime, etc.

Feel free to write in the comments below or add me on discord at Steven#6131 if you want to discuss further or make an offer.

You seem like you know what you're doing and not like those quick Steam scammers, but there's still the possibility that your end goal is to contact Steam support and claim that your Steam account was hacked. Sure, knowing them it'd take a few weeks to months to sort it out, but you'd end up with your account back and the money, especially if someone pays through PSC - for the exact same reason why someone would prefer them.

So what's the play? It's going to be difficult to do the trade without someone throwing their trust onto the other party (a very delayed escrow holding the funds for even months wouldn't guarantee a safe trade for the buyer) and that 'other party' will likely end up being you. You mentioned that you have a built up trust network from years of trading. Any dependable proof of that other than a +rep comment section that *could* be faked that you can connect to yourself?

I'm not really sure if PayPal is ok with using it to buy accounts like Steam, but if they are then a trustworthy buyer using PayPal could be a solution. I'm somewhat interested, which is why I'm posting this reply.

And to clear things up, I'm not accusing you of being a scammer right off the bat. I'm hoping you can take some extra steps to make sure this trade turns out well.

Hey!

I completely understand where you're coming from, it's why i stopped trading around the end of 2014 with games/skins/cash, it was just too much of a hassle having to vet everyone constantly, being on the defensive and untrustworthy of everyone i came across, having to trust in people to then just be scammed - especially at the beginning when i didn't have any rep to fall on, etc. I don't have any +rep outside of my steam profile unfortunately.

Steamtrades.com has a rep system implemented on the website but around the time that i was trading heavily (mid-2012 to about late-2014) it wasn't popular, and the main source of whether you could trust someone came from their +rep on their profiles - so i copied the trend. In hindsight i should have also used the websites rep system, people even offered to +rep on my profile on the website at the time but i declined and was satisfied with simply getting their +rep on my profile, and it's perhaps my biggest regret because i have become aware of how worthless profile rep is now since being easily abusable - and how the steamtrades.com website rep system is now well-known and well-trusted in this day and age.

Here's what i can vouch on though; almost ALL, if not ALL of the +rep i have on my profile has come from profiles with 1000 times more rep than i have on my profile, since i was mainly trading very trusted and popular traders at the time, since i mainly was going first in those trades and wanted to minimise the risk by only trading people who already had a substantial amount of rep, and those people with crazy amounts of +rep more than likely have crazy amounts of +rep on their steamtrades.com profiles - i can link you my profile in pm's or on discord (but not publicly since it's against steam ToS to even trade/sell steam accounts) and you can check them out for yourself to verify this.

Furthermore, the +rep comments i have vary, again, from mid-2012 to late-2014, so i would have had to have been very dedicated to fake those +rep comments as timely as to be spread out over the course of 2+ years. But i do see your point. It's an easily exploitable rep system to abide by and put your trust in, i wouldn't even trust it anymore if anyone approached me with that as their backing of trustworthiness, especially since any +rep i have after late-2014 (about 5 or 6 +reps) are just from people who i played with in CSGO and they +rep'd me for being a good/friendly team mate, hence why i'm not offering it forward as proof of my trustworthiness, but rather just to avert any scammers intentions by showing that I have been in the online-trading world for quite a few years, specifically in the games department, and am very aware of all the various scams.

So ultimately i don't have any rep or proof of my trustworthiness. And i am not trying to use my +rep on my steam profile as a form of that, as mentioned.

Regarding Paypal; To avert the risks and challenges that come with chargebacks I prefer just getting a paysafecard that can be purchased with paypal like any other type of giftcard. It's like if i wanted a steam gift card instead of paypal cash, it shouldn't be a problem for a buyer since they can buy said gift card with paypal anyway - and it poses the same level of risk for the buyer, someone has to go first.

And lastly, in regards to the account itself - even if i didn't go first, and i trusted in the buyer to pay me upon giving all the account info, original email address and password, etc - as you said there's nothing stopping me from retrieving the account via support. That's just the risk that comes with buying an account for ANYTHING unfortunately, as I'm sure you're very aware of. There is literally nothing i can say to you in regard to that to add to my character as a person, except it's just about being a person with morality and not a disgusting scumbag. Especially over £25. I mean who is that desperate for £25 that they're willing to scam someone over it. That's just not me, but again, you can't really trust anyone these days.

I personally wouldn't even buy an account online myself because of this very exact same risk, but i figured since I have rarely touched the account and I have no intention to ever touch it since I increasingly have less and less time for entertainment anyway, let alone games, why not try to make a bit of money out of it and have someone benefit from it for it's fair pricing, rather than let it rot until the contents of the account are worthless and outdated. The truth is you can't really trust anyone with 100% certainty. I don't really know what else to tell you in that regard.

Just know that there's some of us out there that do believe in morals and have a sense of self-respect.

EDIT:

While i was near the end of this message (typing it), i was added on discord by someone from another website where i was also advertising the account. I have now sold it, sorry. I'm not sure if i'm allowed to link other websites but i will take the liberty to do so to show confirmation. It is another well-trusted website for trading accounts.

Here: https://www.playerup.com/threads/steam-account-cs-go-with-1k-hours-and-many-more-games-very-very-cheap.3575229/#post-9205101

She went first with the paysafecard, i redeemed it, then gave her the account. Yeah, i could retrieve the account if i wanted to, at any point, but I wont. Just know there's people out there like me. Again, this is probably a pointless read but i wrote it all prior to getting the discord invite and didn't feel like deleting this all. Sorry again and i hope you find what you're looking for.

Thanks for the response. I can tell a lot of thought went into it, not just because of the length.

It's a pity that the account is already taken, but I'm glad you were able to sell it.

I know that you and many other people out there are genuine - it's just that, as you seem like you know, the trading world is now full of scammers.
