I would suggest not to use any chat groups for this reason. Better go to localbitcoins and find a kyc verified trader who deals in cash near your location. They offer free escrow service for smooth transaction settlement which any chat groups won't offer.

OTC trades in India is risky. Localbitcoins escrow service is definitely something worth using for security of the transaction. Hope this helps!
