Exchange with the best API

Hello everybody. I've wrote a trading bot in python for my personal use with cryptsy but i've found its api is not reliable for high-speed trading as its update speed its of about 2 minutes, so i have to find a best exchange in which operate. As i don't want to rewrite or make another API to find out its update speed makes it useless...Which exchange would you say has the best API?
