Hi,
I'm new to the forums, and I have checked over here but didn't found a thread offering good quality programming services. Brief, I'm a JavaScript/PHP-mySql developer and looking to work on a Web App idea from scratch (probably an MVP).

Here is the deal: I'll get paid with bitcoins. I'll charge by the hour 10BTC/hour, and that rate will remain the same for building the Web App.

Technologies I use:
- JavaScript (jQuery, Backbone) and HTML5 (with Backward compatibility to IE7+)
- PHP: FatFree Framework, Mysql and MongoDB.
- Server: AbyssWebServer (small, fast and cheap or free)
- OS: Ubuntu
- Version Control: Mercurial (BitBucket)

What I'll do:
I'll do everything. From setting up the server, the domain and emails, version control system, caching to programming, design (I'm not a designer, I'll use a template from ThemeForest, but I have enough skills to customize it), and copy-writing.

The time:
It'll probably take a full month from start to finish and cost around 500-700 BTC.

So let's get started. Do you have an idea and you want that MVP to see if it'll work or not? Just send me an email (dev@csomar.com).

Critics, suggestions or ideas replies to this thread are welcome.

Did you have an idea for how you would be logging hours spent working on this that would be completely transparent to the person you're working for? I'm just asking because when it comes to $50/hour wage, every few minutes spent that you may have left the computer for a meal or something along those lines can add up (in your favor and at the expense of your "employer").

Help Bitcoins by buying clothes, technology, books, etc. through people/stores that accept BTC. This will increase overall value of BTC as well as mitigate unnecessary bank transaction fees.

That's a good question.  Wink

I think it's a matter of trust, at first. There isn't a logging software (like oDesk is doing) that will really prove you are working. You can be just moving your mouse around. That being said, I'll make an estimate (in hours) of how much it'll take. It should be reasonable and if it's going to take a lot longer I'll explain that to the client.

I might spend 2 hours doing a 1 hour job. I'll charge only 1 hour. I do the estimate based on production I do when I'm in my average productive state.
