This makes zero sense... The whole point of Bitcoin is to 'cut out the middle man'...

Which sane and logically sound individual would trade Bitcoin via PP, when they could otherwise avoid fee's and the threat of having your account frozen (losing coins) by trading directly with the seller?

PayPal are obviously trying extremely hard to maintain whatever relevancy that they have left but, ultimately, they are done for!

There is no way that I can see the Bitcoin community opting FOR the middle-man rather than AGAINST

Actually it makes perfect sense... bitcoin is still hard for the average person to grasp... and I'm sure paypal will still take 3%. There are probably ways for paypal to piggy-back on the protocol to reduce their cost as well... which could increase their bottom line. At the scale they work on saving 1% on costs is quite alot of money.

If paypal/ebay uses bitcoins, the fees would be so high that it will not be really useful any longer.

It will be a competitive advantage over Apple's payment system.

Supporting people with beautiful creative ideas. Bitcoin is because of the developers, exchanges, merchants, miners, investors, users, machines and blockchain technologies work together.

Why on Earth should we care whether Paypal includes bitcoin as an option in their wallet.  I use them when I have to on ebay, but otherwise I try to avoid the fuckers like the plague.  I wont ever be trusting my bitcoins with Paypal.

Say they freeze your account?... then what?

PayPal's reputation has been defecated with the most horrid shit stain you could ever imagine! ...Thousands of businesses have been reduced down to 2 men and 1 penny all because of the Buccaneers that we know as PayPal

You think MtGox is a problem?.. Well PayPal would be 10X worse.... At least Marky Mark pretends to be an actual Mammal and has made some steps towards addressing the community at large and attempting to put things right... PayPal, on the other hand, will take your Coins and tell you to kick rocks!

The sooner PayPal collapses the better

I wasn't saying it would be good for bitcoin users... I'm pretty sure that paypal exists to make a profit and if they see a way to profit on cryptos they will do it. If your account gets frozen... I guess you're screwed. The world will still turn... and paypal will still make (steal) more money. The parasites that exist in our world are tenacious...
