what did the given link made you do? if it requires you to relogin (considering you're already logged in to you btct account) then you might be looking at a phishing site. But if not, why not try it? Besides, i think you'd know the sender and he probably sent it cause you joined his bounty.

Possibly. The link seems sketchy. Report the PM to Admin/mods and he shall be banned,if the case is justified enough.

Don't be afraid because I've got your back. that's not any phishing link, that's just a spamming bot.

That's a third party bot and you shouldn't simply trust any third party applications with your username and password.

Btw don't you find sketchy with the promotion going through PM.

I don't understand how these bots can operate past the captcha without a code from Theymos...

The best thing to do is not to bother clicking on the link for anything, not even for curious finding. I got that in the past and I simply deleted it at once. That is what I do when I get such.mails. This signature bots are increasing every day now.

Considering the accounts linked to that user the account was likely created to abuse bounty threads. However, as they were caught they likely just made a script to auto post, and send members personal messages.

That wouldn't need a code as the account is already established, and isn't doing anything more than me or you posting here. Now, if you were referring to the website that they linked, and the claim they run multiple accounts are once, then I would wager that it's a malicious site trying to gather users personal data.

Regardless, that doesn't prevent them from captchas. Even if I operate my account as a human, I still need to solve captchas every time I logout or empty my cookies.

They still need to login to message users or post stuff. Vod's point is how come they bot accounts are getting pass captchas which often takes several minutes for actual users to solve. (if I understood it correctly)

Actually automated solving of the recaptcha is quite an easy task by using third party services like https://2captcha.com/software There are other browser extensions like https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/auto-captcha-decoder-exte/dappmbimgjecjddkmgekefhnogbefmjl or others which can automate your captcha solving process.Operating past recaptcha is just as easy as having a web driver to automate the boring  tasks. One can easily achieve this in a few lines of code using Python. The botters set a good amount of delay after ever post so it just feels like a normal human is posting it.

That's assuming that they are logging out. They are likely using virtual machines which they keep the cookies intact, and keep themselves logged in. This would be the smartest thing to do, because they don't need to use captcha solving services then, and therefore cost them less.

Another reason why people must stay away with it is because of associated software that needs to be download. That software will run the bot. I checked the site to see what's going on there and to find much detailed information so that we can warned users. Surely a user needs to login to that software and then that's it, the logged account now have chances to be hacked.

And aside from that, it says that the download link of the software will be received within 4 hours and contact them if no email was received. In here, we aren't sure if the software really exist so probably a scam attempt. I used an invalid email so I can't checked if there is really a software.

STAY AWAY!
