I've been following KarmaCoin and feeling really good about it. I've happily been mining on pool.karmacoin.info without any problem but I also like the idea of p2pool as well.
I looked around and couldn't find any existing KarmaCoin p2pool implementation so I set out to create my own. I've never contributed to an open source project, so this one is my first. For what it's worth though, I'm a web developer by day.
So for anyone interested in mining KarmaCoin on p2pool, I've made my implementation available publicly, and set up several AWS EC2 nodes.
Anyone unfamiliar with P2Pool should read about it at
http://p2pool.in/ for now, but if this gains interest I will write more about it specifically as well as a thorough setup guide!

Please do not use a currency-exchange Karma address; they do not support/do not like people mining directly to them. You should use a wallet, or find an online wallet that's compatible with mining directly.
There are 0% fees on these to promote adoption. Anyone can run a p2pool node of their own and join the network and set their own fee as they desire. Only people connecting to a fee-based node will pay that node's fees.
This is very much beta and I welcome feedback. Hopefully the coin author and/or some experienced p2pool authors/contributors can give me some feedback too!
