I think it not so good for my computer. If my computer you used for office work you shouldn't join browser- based mining. Because it eat RAM fast, and your computer have virus, too bad!

Some people get confuse also with the browser-based mining since they are simple joining a faucet to have some little awards... If you really want to mine then have the right tools for it.

Agree - if You really think about mining than You should start doing it right way with right tools or just don't - get an GPU mining rig or some ASIC - choose Your coin and mine, don't sell unless it is on its ATH Wink ...Yes I am also a miner and I will say it again, do not sell Your Coins when they are cheap unless You really must but ...if You need to change Your iPhone 7 on iPhone X ...thats not must have Wink

In theory, concept of browser-based mining sounds OK, but in reality is far from good. You will spend more money on electricity bills and at the end you will not make profit.

the amount of people commenting in this thread that have no clue whats being discussed it TOO DAMN HIGH.

there are zero electric costs. its ALL profit. you are using SOMEONE ELSE'S browser/computer to mine for you.

the browser itself isnt capable of any mining. there is no computational power IN a browser
you host a website
you put a bit of code on your website that will mine whenever someone views the site
the clients visiting your site need to use... a browser... to access the site.

Your post definitely put a smile on my face and I hope it made clear that this would be the only reasonable way of browser mining. I guess some people have in mind, mining coins for yourself on a website with your own hardware/browser and then earn money - which would be ridiculous and far away from efficient!

Using browsers - it is not effective way to mine. You will have some profit if you don’t pay for electricity and you'll use a lot of computers with browser mining.
