With Mint, every 20 days the network automatically increases your wallet by 20% of the coins you haven't done any transfers with. So as long as your wallet isn't encrypted, you can just open it up every so often and see profit. It's PoW right now, but then switches to PoS after 5 weeks.

It's far more Green/efficient, PoS can secure the network without need for the consistant PoW. Don't ask me on the technical details though.
